I have been struggling to get justice to remove wrong charges to my credit card account by Standard Chartered Bank, but in vain.
I Would like to inform you that bank was issued free credit Card(4035)
I was trying to book Air Ticket (AIR Deccan) in Jan 2006 but due to deactivation of card booking has not been made. After that I received outstanding bill for Rs 3200.00 & I called up your call centre to register my complain,& simultaneously I requested to close the Credit Card Account.
customer care Executive reversed my outstanding amount & instead of closing the A/C they issue new credit Card & charge Rs 100.00 for card replacement. & as they were charging huge unnecessary amount like late charges, over limit charges etc.As on date total outstanding amount is Rs.45,873.12 of replacement of card charge.
I have never used any card or made any single financial Transaction through replace bank credit card.
I have all the above records of phone emails ,statement of bill and going to take it forward with RBI, Consumer Forum/Court and Media; before which I want you to go thru the trailing emails and convey your decision.
