Hi I want to lodge complaint against an online shopping company 100bestbuy.com.
In october, they floated a contest that by paying 399/- (INR) consumers can get a smart phone, it also said if not, 100% money will be refunded.
Today I got a call and they said that I have been shortlisted for the contest which is scheduled in January, and they will courier me the contest coupon number. They say that I will have to pay Rs 1000/- as courier charges, because along with the coupon, they will delivery some watch or other item, which I do not remember exactly. When I told them that send me the detailed document of terms and conditions for the contest, they told that it is against their policy to provide written confirmation of terms and conditions. I told them that I do not require any watch or gift item from them, only the coupon may be sent, they told that it is mandatory to take the watch, if I do not agree, they will not allow me for the contest.
This is sheer cheating. I have already paid 399/- and now they are trying to take another 1000 Rs.
Please see that such companies are blacklisted, and such false offers or contests are disouraged.
I also request you to help me get back my money from this organisation asap.
