Against CITIBANK – Failed updation to CIBIL

Hi,

I have opened a Suvidha Account from CITIBANK Chennai on 22-02-2008 .
This was my Account NO: 5060725448 .
I got in touch with Bangalore Citibank and they asked me to pay the back log amount of Rs.687 wich has been paid and got the NO Credit removed and then the Closure process has been initiated.

Also I have got a confirmation email from CITIBANK on the closure of my account on 2-12-2011.

Recently I have applied for a HOME loan and the loan got rejected due to ‘overdraft/written off’ of my account in CITIBANK.

When I contacted CITIBANK customercare,(after talking mor more than 1 hour with 5 people), it was confirmed that the problem was with the bank and it would take 4 working days to update CIBIL on my account closure. The process was going on in the month end, which would extend the sanction of my loan to 1 month. This would lead to penalty to be paid by me to the builder.

I would like to file a case against CITIBANK on the above issue.

Please be informed that you have paid the complete outstanding amount Still the status has not been updated from CIBIL so in that case we can help you to get the issue rectify in priority basis and also we will also improve your CIBIL score where there would not be any issues at the time of applying any loans or Credit cards in future.
