Replacement policy is misleading

Location/place: Bangalore

Name of company/service: Flipkart

Under their 30 day replacement policy, they refused to give a refund on receipt of defective microwave oven that they did not have in stock. Instead they offered credits on next purchase or wire transfer well after the pickup. Given that they expect 100 % of money in advance or on delivery for online purchases, this is not acceptable.
