Sold a defective car

Location/place: Mumbai

Name of company/service: Volkswagen

I purchase VW polo Tdi, sometime Nov last year and started using it frequently only 3/4 months. In these 3 months, my car had to go 3 times to service station and other 3/4 times I got held up due to the same problem. In few times after I restarted the car worked while in others it had to be towed away to service station.Last time I got stuck was middle of nigh 2am somewhere in Pune( I belong to Mumbai). This company seems to have sold me a defective car with some problem in fuel pump. Since then I have been trying to get in touch with customer care but no one bothers to respond to my complaints and even emails.

This is really frustrating. Now I donot want the car and want the company to refund me the entire value of car as well as compensate me fr all the mental agony that I am going through due to this.

Can someone out their help me.
