Monitory Loss due to lousiness of ICICI Bank Branch Kamothe.

Complaint against: ICIC Bank Branch Kamothe.

I am writing this online complaint as I have undergone an monitory loss of sum of 20,000 /-.

Incidence narration: An check of Rs 20,000/- was deposited to ICIC Bank branch Komothe on 25th July will all the required details on Pay in- slip of the Bank as per procedure. on the cheque Payee Name was not mention by me and i had deposited the cheque to Mr. Radheshyam (Branch Operations Manager) on the counter as he collected the cheque and acknowledged the pay in slip with the bank stamp without doing the basic sanity check as the Payee name was not mention on the Cheque. due to which the check was in the clearing for next 4 days on 28th of July i personally visited the branch and i got to know from a Femal executive on the counter the cheque is in safe custody of ICIC Bank as payee name was not mention on the cheque. as informed by the executive i gave an written application to the concern requestion to send back the cheque to Kamothe ICICI Bank branch. on 30th I received and SMS from TD 044079 (ICICI Bank) stating SR 232974818 the cheque is on hole and have send back to Kamothe Branch you cn visit to the branch to collect the cheque after 3 working days.

On 4th Of Aug i visited Kamothe branch to collect and redeposit the cheque. again i had filled an fresh pay in slip to redeposit the cheque and handed over the cheque to the Female executive on the counter and ask he to kindly check all the details filled by me are correct . the executive acknowledged the slip with ICICI bank stamp and returned to me. again the cheque was not cleared, due to which i had called ICICI customer care on 02228307777 on 9th Aug and spoke to the executive, as per him the check has returned to my mailing address as the cheque required signature for alteration. on insisting my call was transfered to the Floor Manager Mohamed as there was no satisfactory reply from him i insisted to conference MRS Ronita Branch Manager Kamothe, after a long conversation with her she admitted as the basic sanity checks were not done due to which the cheque was returned back.

To the concern authority: I request you to kindly look in to the issue as it is a purely monitory loss to me.
