Delay in Service leads to higher rate of interest and late payment charges.

Name of company/service: Aramex Courier

Shipment no 4361146090 was given on 9th August to the main branch of Aramex courire located at Shivaji nagar, Pune and was a local courier to be delivered to LIC housing Finance, Pimpri but till date(14.08.2012) the same has not been delivered. A destination which is 20 KM away from there branch office has already taken 6 days to deliver a document. If it was supposed to take 5-6 days in delivering to a local destination which is 20km away then their branch should have informed me before accepting the consignment. It was an urgent document which was supposed to reach before 11th August. Still today when I called up the customer care they said the delivery will be done only by 16th Aug. We expect that local deliveries should reach within 24hrs of accepting the consignment. If I would have known that it will take 5-6 days in a local delivery then I would have personally gone and hand delivered the documents.

Due to this delay the disbursement didnot happen on time and now i am being charged for the late payment by my builder.

I want the courier company to look into the matter and take corrective action by informing the customers about the exact time which will be taken for the delivery. Also i am trying to avoid the late payment charges but if i am forced to pay the charges i will sent the bill to the Aramex couriers to clear my bills. if not then i will be forced to take a legal action against the company.
