Excess amount recovered by insurer against policy after surrender

Name of company/service: Birla Sunlife Insurance

Hello,
I had taken one short term policy with Birla Sunlife Insurance Co., policy no.003059015 taken on July-09 at the time of taking this policy advisor told me if i invest Rs.500/pm then after 3yrs i will get Rs.24000 i.e.18000+6000as interest on the amount,now when i got this policy i found those conditions were not mentioned in the policy then i tried to confirm with agent but still he was saying this policy is correct i will get this money, after afer three years i came to know, that this policy is unit link policy and in this first three years i will get very less amount as most of the amount goes into the service charges & at the end of three years i got only – Rs.12217.51
Now even after surrendering my policy on 7th July12 and getting refund on 26th July12 still my ECS amount got deducted on 28th July12.
when i asked customer care about this issue they responded
1) normally it happend for the 1 month after policy surrender
2)we dont payback money without intimation or request by consumer
3)Amount of refund will be without interest…(refund will happen after 15days of request)

Now, my request is please 1) grant me refund with interest and 2) make me the refund also about the loss(Rs.12000) i had sufferd because of wrong info given by insurance agent.
